First Muslim U.S. Congressman wants anti-Christ,
anti-Israel book for ceremony
By Ted Sampley
U.S. Veteran Dispatch
December 04, 2006
If Minnesota’s first black United States
Congressman Keith Ellison, a Democrat, gets his way, he will be sworn in to
Congress next January with his hand on a religious book that instructs its
followers to make war against and kill Christians and Jews.
Ellison is the first Muslim ever elected to the
U.S. House of Representatives and he wants to be sworn in using the Quran, a
book containing Islam’s most sacred writings.
Six hundred years after the death of Jesus
Christ, the Archangel Gabriel supposedly manifested himself to Muhammad Ibne
Abdullah in a cave where Muhammad had secluded himself to pray. Gabriel,
according to Islamic teachings, instructed the terrified Muhammad that he had
been chosen as a messenger to "recite, repeat and proclaim" revelations from
God.
Because Muhammad could not read or write, Gabriel
instructed him to memorize the revelations until his "companions" could
transcribe them on bark or stones or whatever was available.
For nearly 23 years, Muhammad supposedly received
divine instructions from God, including a revelation that Christ was not the Son
of God, and that all such claims were lies.
Shortly after his death, Muhammad’s complete
recitation was compiled into a single volume called the Quran, also called the
"Final Testament", "The Book", "Book of God" or "The Revelation."
The Quran, along with details of Muhammad’s life
as recounted by his biographers, forms the basis of Islamic theology. It orates
that Allah (Arabic for God) granted through Muhammad the irrevocable truth that
there is no possibility of salvation for anyone who refuses to accept Allah as
the only true God, and Muhammad as His messenger.
Muslims are those who submit fully in obedience
to Allah and convert their lives according to the dictates of the "Holy Quran"
and the teachings of Islam.
Islam demands believers to be completely
submissive to an Islamic, theocratic form of government in which the State
acknowledges the legal supremacy of God and the teachings of Muhammad.
In this capacity, all legislative, executive, and
judicial powers of the State are fixed by the limits described in the Quran and
Islamic teachings.
For example, Muslims, according to the Quran,
must fight and kill in the name of Allah, whether they like it or not. Quran
2:216
The Quran is militantly anti-Judeo-Christian. It
refers to non-Muslims as unbelievers, hypocrites and infidels directing Muslims
to "make war" against them so they might be sent to their "homes in hell."
(Surah 9:73)
To underscore that point, Muhammad, armed with a
sword and his status as a "Holy Prophet" of God, united the tribes of the
Arabian Peninsula into a federation army and began to spread Islam.
Under his command, Muslims put the sword to the
Jews of Khaybar as an example for all others who were refusing to accept Islam
as their religion.
When Muhammad’s army sacked a town, all property
was seized and distributed to the conquering Muslims. Male prisoners were
executed, and their women and children were sold as slaves or traded for horses
and weapons, thus advancing the enlargement of the Muslim army for further
conquests.
A year after murdering the Jews of Khaybar,
Muhammad’s army marched into "Mecca" triumphantly, after its entire population
decided to convert to Islam. Muhammad had made an offer from God (Surah 2:191-2)
not to massacre the people of Mecca if they agreed to repent and accept Islam as
their religion.
As a result of that success, Mecca was
established as the religious center of Islam.
Today, believers in the Quran constitute the
second-largest religion on earth. According to various sources, just over
one-fifth of the world's population is Muslim. Only Christianity is larger,
comprising 33 percent of the population. But Islam is by far the fastest-growing
religion on the planet, with a growth rate estimated at 2.8 percent to 2.9
percent annually.
Pat Buchanan, a political analyst for MSNBC and a
syndicated columnist who served three presidents in the White House, got it
right when he wrote … "In population, Islam is exploding; the West dying.
Islamic warriors are willing to suffer defeat and death; the West recoils at
casualties. They are full of grievance; we, full of guilt. Where Islam prevails,
it asserts a right to impose its dogma, while the West preaches equality. Islam
is assertive; the West apologetic – about its crusaders, conquerors and empires.
Don’t count Islam out. It is the fastest growing faith in Europe, and has
surpassed Catholicism worldwide. And as Christianity expires in the West and the
churches empty out, the mosques are going up."
Ellison’s election to Congress gave the 7
million-strong American Muslim community a big political push. The day after his
election, Ellison’s victory was being widely publicized in the overseas Muslim
world. Al Jazeera, the most popular satellite news channel in the Middle East,
headlined the Ellison story.
In Virginia, which boasts about 60,000 Muslim
voters, the Muslim vote was critical in tipping the balance against incumbent
U.S. Sen. George Allen.
According to the Muslim American Society Center
for Electoral Empowerment (MASCEE), an estimated 47,700 Muslims voted for
Democrat Jim Webb, "positively contributing to his narrow victory" over
Republican Sen. George Allen. That win gave Democrats control of the Senate with
51 seats.
Before Ellison’s election to the U.S. House,
Larry Shaw, a Democrat State Senator of North Carolina, was the highest Muslim
elected official in the United States. Shaw, a corporate executive, was
re-elected to the State senate on November 7.
In Maryland, Saqib Ali, a Muslim Democrat, was
elected to that state’s legislature.
During the campaign, Ellison, a former member of
the Nation of Islam, was criticized for accepting campaign contributions from
questionable sources "with ties to Islamic terrorism." He received nearly twice
as much money in campaign contributions as his opponent, Alan Fine.
Some of Ellison’s Islamic donors include Omar
Ahmad and Nihad Awad, board members of the Council on American-Islamic Relations
(CAIR). Both men are reported to have ties to the Islamic Association of
Palestine, an overseas Palestinian fanatical group.
Ahmad is on record stating that the Quran should
be America's highest authority.
"If you choose to live here (in America) ... you
have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam," Ahmad told Lisa
Gardiner, a reporter for The Argus in Fremont, Calif.
Ahmad said Islam isn't in America to be equal to
any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Quran, he said, should be the
highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.
Now the United States has its first Muslim
congressman, catapulted into office by energetic and active Muslim volunteers
and a significant constituency of Somali immigrants in Minneapolis who cast
their first votes for him in a crowded September primary.
Congressman-elect Ellison mostly downplayed his
religious affiliation during the General Election, but during his victory
speech, Ellison yelled to his Islamic base, "God is good, y'all" and supporters
yelled back, "Allahu Akbar" -- Arabic for "God is great".
Does "Allahu Akbar" sound familiar? It should. It
was the last words heard on the cockpit voice recorder of Flight 93, just before
Muslims murdered all its passengers by crashing the jetliner into the ground.
